The Cinematic coming soon
So glad that I’m part of the team building The Cinematic – video identity. Here are some of the screen shots from the projects. The Cinematic is a new breed of motion templates where every project comes from a real template animation and customized for the needs of your logo or title sequece. In the end you will have high quality animation with cinematic look on a low price. The start of The Cinematic will be next month I hope.

Those templates are killing the motion designers. Think about it. When you can buy the “cinematic templates” at low price why should you pay motion designer to do the same job. That’s sad…
I dont think this templates will kill the custom work, look at this like start point of a custom work (I like to be like this template butt with some changes)

Dear Alexander,
Even if people ask you to, don’t give your best templates (like The Cinematic) away for free, because by giving them away for free you lower the value of hard work and quality design. I’m very willing to pay for your collection, as I also want to encourage you to keep up the good work. People who say that they can’t afford to buy your stuff, are usually people who are not working in the industry (very often students). So, if they don’t have the money to buy your templates, they certainly have another valuable good : time. Time to learn the software by following your tutorials and recreate your projects (or even better create some of their own).
Personally, I think that asking somebody to give something of value away for free, is nothing else than showing a lack of respect for the work, time and effort that the person invested in creating that thing. I’m already thankful that you share your knowledge and experience with the community.
Every (good) work should get paid, so keep up the good work and make people show their appreciation by selling your best projects at the price you think is the right one!
