Hi guys, there is the second episode of The Feedback series and I like to thanks all of you that submit your work and be so kind and patient to wait for this record. I apologize for the great waiting with a little gift – a pack from my font “Typograph Pro” for everyone that submit for this revision.

I’m so glad that I spend a time last mounts to create a typeface that will serve me perfect and fits my understanding about typography. The name of the font family is Typograph Pro and for now have 7 styles. The main idea behind this font is to use basic shapes as much as it can so the letters will look more like graphic shapes than a type. The power of Typograph Pro are the CAPS, I don’t know why I build the small letters I rare use them, CAPS – I love them; Small letters – not that much . I hope you like the font and find it useful for your projects and give a little support for the site. You can check the official site here.

The most beautiful thing created by the designer in my opinion is the Ultra Light Italic types. Exclusive thin line which makes up each letter is the best way to see the font properties. Constantly on the line width has the greatest merit for the exquisite forms. With growing up in the thickness of the font that constantly line is manipulated and lost its beauty.
Of course this is my opinion and I would be happy to hear what is for you most beautiful thing created by the designer.

Quick tip how you can build your own HDRI image inside Cinema 4D.

Using bake texture tag you can make every cinema scene in to a hdri and use it for lighting with global illumination.

This are the 5 steps that I follow when starting logo design. There is no right or wrong way to build a logo but there are a few things that you need to check out and try to do not forget. Hi, I’m so glad that almost finish collecting all important thing that I fallow when I start create a logo design. This is something like my “5 Things about Typography” but this time we will talking about logo design.

The name is “5 Rules in Logo Design” and I try to pack it in 5 steps that may help you create your logo project from the blank list to the final output and preview for the client. So I hope find it useful and hope to come out veeeery soon.

In this tutorial I show you my understandings of lighting from the real world and thinks I study in school about how different lights affect objects different. The most interesting is combination of natural and unnatural light witch you may see a lot in the real world. I use Cinema 4D and After effects for this scene also Trapcode particular 2 and Optical flares.

So glad that I’m part of the team building The Cinematic – video identity. Here are some of the screen shots from the projects. The Cinematic is a new breed of motion templates where every project comes from a real template animation and customized for the needs of your logo or title sequece. In the end you will have high quality animation with cinematic look on a low price. The start of The Cinematic will be next month I hope.

This is something that you guys ask for and like I told you it is veeery bouring tutorial and the only good think is the final look so hope you get something useful when you watch the video. I was recording this in 2.00 AM and I’m little washout

Here is my last logo design I made for my friend Boris Stoev who run a web design services over brand name “100F”. Knowing the man and him work for me was easy to get the look that he will like and define the services that provides. The best thing in the final project is that I finish with a shape that imitates 100F letters and I know is a little hard to read but if you see it ones you’ll remember it it is a crazy shape
If you have advices I’ll love to here them here.

And here I thing without the squares in the 00 is better, but may be you will say better.

Hi everyone, I’m so glad that I found and I can share with you some free fonts that I found on the net and they look so cool in 3D. You know that I’m not a big fan of a free fonts butt this ones are very good except the fact that my favorite 3D program Cinema 4D do not except it so I make it on a splines in Illustrator and then use it in Cinema.
I make some scenes in 3D with every one of the types so you can see how powerful they are and so right for 3D. Hope to inspire you and use it in your projects, just let me know if you made something with them will be great to post it here.

One of the best free professional font that I found and is working not only for 3D but you can use it Corporate identity projects and graphic design because have a family.

What is it?

The Feedback is a idea come from my visitors, they want to send me a peace of they work – Corporate identity, Logo design, Prints … and I revisit every project and say a few words about design composition typography and so on.

How it works?

You need to send me a e-mail (info@amateurmedia.net) with attached files on your project (.jpg;.png) and say a few words about what is the goal of the project and what the client wont to look like.

Final result is:

When I collect some of your projects I’ll make a video tutorial and revisit every design and try to say some words about the design part of it.

How often?

I’ll do this every time I have some of your projects in my e-mail.

What kind of work to send?

My advice is to send more stills like poster, visits, logos, corporate identity and things like that so it will be very clean revision and I’ll be more precise over my advices. There is no problem sending me some motion stuff but I think will be more useful for you to learn design tips from a still images.
