Cool tip men !
I been a fan of you tutorials for sometime now. Thank you for making one as this! Great Tut!
Thanks!
Yet another great tip on using C4D, you rock dude!!
How do you set up cinema to run in 332 bit? When I do my textures like yours they don’t look right at all. Thanks
Just select the Radiance HDR file type and the final output will be 32bit
Good tutorial
Very cool Alexander!
awsome tut man, very useful and creative!! thanks man!!
Alexander, im newbie in 3d graphic… where I can use this technique?
You can use this as a lighting map on a sky object with global illumination
edmart sow got
really cool…!!!!!!!!! 5/5 Stars!!!!
i love your videos, you are the MASTER on Cinema
Great tutorial on HDR Alexander. What is the current status on the upcoming “The Cinematic” product?
We try to move it, but I’m working on a Font and this will take a time …
Thx really impressive tut
Thanks for this!
I was wondering…if I make a big environment scene, say, a big factory scene with a lot of pipes, etc…it will take forever to render that environment. Is there a way to “bake” the environment so I can render out 1 frame and use it as a background so it will dramatically cut down the render time because i will just have to worry about foreground elements and not the extensive background elements?
Yes, you can that’s gives you one time calculating the GI or AO and you render each frame with the same baked environment.
Awesome thanks Alexander. Is it as easy as this tutorial or is there another method other than making the sphere reflect the environment to get this done?
Honestly, i frustrated not being able to download all of this jaw-dropping tutorials. Even on vimeo the downloads keep breaking, i think youtube is a better option of downloading them even if they get broken during the process, a file hosting site like rapidshare would be the best option in my own opinion. Please Help Me, i really appreciate your effort especially for upcoming motion designers like me. Anybody please help.
Thank you guys.
Alexander, very good tutorial for creating own HDR images
Александр, Ваши уроки на русском есть?
Sorry man, only english.
Great tutorial, but I expected the HDRI to go to the luminance channel. At least when I use HDRI on super size spheres for lighting a scene. Is this different for a sky object?
When you have a hdri image there is no problem using it in color channel, but if you use jpg or tiff use luminance for better results ( there is less data in jpg or tiff ) so the luminance will give a extra power of the image.
THank you for another great tutorial . much love and respect from los angeles!
Thank you for nice tutorials. I would like to ask you if you could of course…. To publish some nice liquid tutorial. Im wondering about how to create this INK in C4, to use it over some images in . Just like this:
Liquid is great matereal which can have different thicknes, heigh.. Transparency, reflection and so on and on. Would be very thankfull!! Cheers!

thanks Alex,
this tut is very interesting. You are great!!!
Greetings from Italy.
Hi, Andreas,
great tutorials. Does it work with C4D V 10?. I don´t get the same render results. My spheres are black with withe, blue and red reflections and not blue like yours. Where comes the blue color from?
best regards
Mikel
Hi, Andreas,
i solved the problem – sorry. You are the best!
Mikel
Nice tuts… it’s nice to learn more materials and shaders.. cant really understand the differnt shaders
P.S. I want it to congratulate you and I just picked a random tut to post my congratulations

honestly speaking, you’re cold. why are there no more tutorials? or did u just do it for advertising and then go underground. atleast give some reason in your blog. jeez!
Hey the tutorial is very good but i got little Problems to understand you..
How to make this Film Grain in the cinema 4d render?
hello alexender just want to ask why are you not making any new tutorials.
i have been visiting this site every week to see a new tutorial, but since last several months its like you have stoped working on your site.
i hope you think about it and make new tutorials.
thanks for reading
감사합니다. thank you!
cinema 4d 12.0… is not this way…
No reflections … only a white…
could not figure out the problem…
I think the dimensions of the HDR..
Very cool! Thank you!
Show us how did you make the hrdi light ..all of it
Great resource and very well explained.
Thankyou.
tnx man for sharing…ur tutorials are helping me a lot.
Hi
Thanks for your impressive tutorial.
I used same technique to bake
HDRI maps in Cinema 4D though I only used
layer shaders in luminance channel. Applied shader into
sphere and added few cubes as lights.
Still not sure why to use Sky object because spherical map works
also with sphere object and you are also able to control the scale.
However using Sky object is much faster way to show how it
works. With Sky object it´s not possible to control scale but
it works great.
Your Cinema 4D HDRI scene setups are very good.
Well done!
so cool~!
so useful. thank you for sharing.
What i should do if i want use this on text object? I try different methods but color is all ways matte.. in a sphere is working fine.
Thanks
Ehh,can you make a tutorial on how to sculp/from models example a dragon, troll, snake etc
edmart
Ok, i have a lot of questions in my mind.
Im new to Cinema 4D,
1. What’s the deal about C4D, is C4D renders fast than 3DMax?, is C4D easy to use?, is C4D cool?.
2. Iv’e notice that some of your tutorials (MOD, Recreat Sherlock holmes) goes with Illustrator, does C4D doesn’t have “Convert to Editable Poly” like Max? Whats the deal with Illustrator?
3. Iv’e also notice that all of your tutorials are motion graphics, can you create some VFX Tutorial? Maybe blowing some building, destroying LA (2012) WITH C4D?
4. What is the best C4D, Max or Lightwave?, What does Hollywood movies prefer?
I need answers from the EXPERTS!.
Pls notify me is someone has the answers.(aduo_bisdak@yahoo.com)
