Comedy Titles in Cinema 4D
This is a very simple sett up for Comedy title sequence using Cinema 4D mograph, spline effector and delay effector. The render is very fast and nice looking final output. The compositing is done in After Effects, the lights are from videocopilot plugin “Otical Flares”.

Hey Alexander thanks for the fun tutorial. With this look the only thing I would have changed is the blow-out to white. It has the effect of cutting that cool text effect in half. Best wishes, John.

Hello Alexander, I rendered it out the same way you did, but After Effects gives an error when I open my .aec file.
It says: After Effects error: Can’t import file “filename.aec”: unsupported filetype or extension. Do I miss a plugin or…? Please help me!
I downloaded the ‘Plugin for After Effects CS4 to CINEMA 4D R11.5 connection.’ from the maxon site. I put the plugin in the plugin-folder. But it still doesn’t work. Please can somebody help me?
Try to render again after you install your plugins, or try to save the aep fail again after you have install all the plugins that you need.

in The Viewport It’s Fine But In The Render (Crtl+R) It Be Come’s All Yellow and In The Render in The Picture Viewer ( Shift+R ) The Two Texts Go In Together

The technic is the same just insert a circle and use spline effector and that’s it
I want to text to deform on the shape of circle so to be on the circle around. It doesn’t deform the text for me, the text is straight but on the circle’s “edge”.

If your site is WordPress you have this by default build in, if you don’t have it you can install a plugin for comments, but if your site is standart not WP or is flash you have to code the function, ask the man that build your site.

hi Alexander, great tutorial. However i am getting some kind of when rendering to the picture viewer. from what I am seeing, the picture viewer renders the scene all right but not with the effectors effecting the text.
Any thoughts on that ?

Anyone know what is happening here?
All looks fine in the viewport but the words are located at the same ypos when i render.

Great tut Alex, but i´m having a same problem with viewport and render window final results. In render window it doesent put the bottom word lower on the Y axis, it ends on in the same place like the upper words?????

How come when I press commmand R on my Mac that my titles render the way they are seen, but when I hit shift R they render and both words are squished as one overlapping each other, to make sure it wasnt my computer i downloaded your project file and opened on another mac and i ran into the same issue what am i doing wrong? what have i missed. I noticed it happens when i add the delay and random effector and the delay effector on my second word, if i remove those to while keeping the the second word spline it works just fine.

try to render final image with save check and see if is wrong again
Hello, the tutorial is great but I have a problem with more than 10 letters, the word doesn’t look good and the last letters stay blocked on the spline. Any idea of what happened ??
All right, I think the problem comes from “Reverse” in the Arc objects and the Delay effector, because when I check “Invert” in the “falloff” of Delay Effector, the word looks fine, but it doesn’t spring anymore …
Has someone solved the problem ?
Ok, here’s how I solved my problem
Just put a Mograph tag “Mograph cache” on your delay effector and more than 10 letters word, then click on it, check “Use cache” and click “Bake”. And it shows me everything just fine !!
