I’m so glad that I spend a time last mounts to create a typeface that will serve me perfect and fits my understanding about typography. The name of the font family is Typograph Pro and for now have 7 styles. The main idea behind this font is to use basic shapes as much as it can so the letters will look more like graphic shapes than a type. The power of Typograph Pro are the CAPS, I don’t know why I build the small letters I rare use them, CAPS – I love them; Small letters – not that much . I hope you like the font and find it useful for your projects and give a little support for the site. You can check the official site here.

The most beautiful thing created by the designer in my opinion is the Ultra Light Italic types. Exclusive thin line which makes up each letter is the best way to see the font properties. Constantly on the line width has the greatest merit for the exquisite forms. With growing up in the thickness of the font that constantly line is manipulated and lost its beauty.
Of course this is my opinion and I would be happy to hear what is for you most beautiful thing created by the designer.

Hi, I’m so glad that almost finish collecting all important thing that I fallow when I start create a logo design. This is something like my “5 Things about Typography” but this time we will talking about logo design.

The name is “5 Rules in Logo Design” and I try to pack it in 5 steps that may help you create your logo project from the blank list to the final output and preview for the client. So I hope find it useful and hope to come out veeeery soon.

So glad that I’m part of the team building The Cinematic – video identity. Here are some of the screen shots from the projects. The Cinematic is a new breed of motion templates where every project comes from a real template animation and customized for the needs of your logo or title sequece. In the end you will have high quality animation with cinematic look on a low price. The start of The Cinematic will be next month I hope.

Here is my last logo design I made for my friend Boris Stoev who run a web design services over brand name “100F”. Knowing the man and him work for me was easy to get the look that he will like and define the services that provides. The best thing in the final project is that I finish with a shape that imitates 100F letters and I know is a little hard to read but if you see it ones you’ll remember it it is a crazy shape
If you have advices I’ll love to here them here.

And here I thing without the squares in the 00 is better, but may be you will say better.

Hi everyone, I’m so glad that I found and I can share with you some free fonts that I found on the net and they look so cool in 3D. You know that I’m not a big fan of a free fonts butt this ones are very good except the fact that my favorite 3D program Cinema 4D do not except it so I make it on a splines in Illustrator and then use it in Cinema.
I make some scenes in 3D with every one of the types so you can see how powerful they are and so right for 3D. Hope to inspire you and use it in your projects, just let me know if you made something with them will be great to post it here.

One of the best free professional font that I found and is working not only for 3D but you can use it Corporate identity projects and graphic design because have a family.

This is a project over my client for his new sausage products identity.All design was created in Photoshop no Illustrator … for now .
For the shot for the picture that you see below I use Cinema 4D then export in Photoshop file and play with color correction and lens blur to simulate the depth of field effect.
Nothing too fancy just to show you a idea how you can present a product using Cinema 4D

Corporate ID project for Dental Protection Center. The project include two Logo designs and one web design identity. Like you see my goal was to build a clean and fresh look with simple shapes and friendly colors.

Hi, the next thing to show you is the settings of MoDynamics and how you can slow down fracture animation using the free plugin “Destruction” witch I see for first time in www.greyscalegorilla.com and I like to thanks Nick that post that plugin. We going to use a Volumetric Lights to simulate the light rays that cross the shatter parts of the text. And export for After Effects and add final touches.

This are my favorite Fonts family. In most of the cases I use Futura and the next are number 2, 3, 4 and 5.I am a big fan of sanserif fonts like you will see in the countdown . More of the fonts are based on the basic shapes and are very popular and I explain why in the 5 Things to know about Typography tutorial. Future tutorial for create 3D Jelly text or logo in Maxon Cinema 4D & After Effects

The tutorial should be published 21 January 2010 on CGTuts+

All starts with Adobe Illustrator where I create logo splines. Import them in Cinema 4D. Use Extrude NURBS to make splines 3D. Then break the 3D logo in regular grid mesh to have extra geometry for use this geometry with Bone tool in C4D. Set up Bone structure & connect it to logo. I start to animate the logo and it will behave like is 3D Jelly. Export After Effects ( separate the logo from the background with alpha & lumma matte )composition and bring all that in AE. Use the 32bpc to recreate the color glow.Use curves to give some contrast and other color corrections. Simulate motion blur using RSMB plugin for AE
